This one-week sample from the Wonderpath High School curriculum introduces learners to Kara Walker, a contemporary artist known for her bold, haunting silhouette installations that confront the tangled history of race, power, and identity in America.

Created for learners ages 14+, this sample week invites thoughtful discussion, visual analysis, personal reflection, and creative response—all grounded in art history and lived experience.
