The Makers
Independent artists, small studios, and quiet craftspeople whose work carries story, skill, and care. Maison du Corbeau exists to support makers who create with intention and integrity, and to present their work in a way that honors both process and person.
Every piece in the Maison begins with a maker.
How We Work with Makers
Maison du Corbeau is guided by curation rather than volume. Makers are chosen thoughtfully, with attention given to craftsmanship, ethical practice, and the story behind the work. We prioritize independent artists, small businesses, and studios where hands and heart are present in the process.
This is not a marketplace of endless listings. It is a collection built through relationship, conversation, and trust.
When you support the Maison, you are directly supporting the people who create these objects.

Living Folklore
Writers, lorekeepers, designers, dreamers... the voices who help shame the Maison's narrative.
More Than a Name
Whenever possible, each maker is introduced with a short profile that may include:
- their creative background or studio story
- materials and techniques they work with
- the inspiration behind their pieces
- how their work fits into ritual, daily life, or personal practice
These introductions are meant to offer context, not to overwhelm. You are welcome to read deeply or simply enjoy the work itself.
Our Commitment to Care
Care extends beyond aesthetics. Maison du Corbeau is committed to ethical sourcing, fair collaboration, and respectful representation. We do not carry work that exploits cultural traditions, living practices, or sacred symbols without context or consent.
Some traditions are not represented here. That absence is intentional.
Why Maker Context Matters
Knowing who created an object changes how it is held and used. Context builds respect, care, and connection. It reminds us that beauty does not appear fully formed, but through time, practice, and intention.
You are not required to know every detail to appreciate a piece, but the story is here if you wish to learn.
Maison du Corbeau is built on relationship. Between maker and object. Between object and keeper. Between curiosity and care.
We are grateful for every maker whose work rests here, even for a season.
