This is not a decision the Crows make lightly. Each creature in our care has completed the necessary coursework, demonstrated a baseline willingness to cohabitate with humans, and been assessed by our placement team as ready to graduate. You have been selected as a prospective adoptive household.

What It Is

An official cryptid adoption experience. One creature, fully documented, carefully placed, and entirely yours.

The Archive maintains an active roster of cryptids at various stages of graduation. Who is available depends entirely on who has completed Cryptid School. We do not rush the process. Some of them take longer than others.

Maison du Corbeau has always believed the strange deserve a home. The Archive has been housing these creatures long enough. It is time they found their people. You have been assessed as suitable. The Crows are confident. Mostly.

About the Adoption

Every cryptid in our care arrives from the margins of maps, the edges of campfire stories, and the very specific kind of place where the signal goes out and the trees get too close together. Each one has a name. Each one has opinions. Each one has been waiting for exactly the right household.

The placement team does not take requests. Trust the process.

What's Included

Upon successful placement you will receive one handmade cryptid companion, ready for domestic life. Also included in your official adoption file: a wax sealed Certificate of Adoption making the arrangement legally binding within Archive jurisdiction, a Meet Your Cryptid card introducing you to your creature by name along with their favorite snacks, notable quirks, and any behaviors worth knowing about in advance, and a How to Care for Your Cryptid card with everything you need to ensure a successful cohabitation. A curated collection of goods chosen specifically for your cryptid rounds out the dossier. Contents vary by creature and are selected with the same intention as the placement itself.

Suggested Use

Open the dossier before you open the box. Read the documentation. Familiarize yourself with the creature's name and known quirks before making introductions. Do not startle them. Do not make promises you cannot keep. They remember everything.

Practical Details

$60. One cryptid per order. Placements are final. The Archive does not facilitate returns. The Crows have made their assessment and stand by it.

Available cryptids reflect current graduation status. The roster changes as creatures complete their coursework. Check back often. They are aware of you already.
